This website was created by a University High School student as part of a Capstone Project to showcase the school.
In University High School's electrical program, our teacher Joshua Torres, will teach every student how electrical systems work and how to safely handle them. Students learn about circuits, wiring techniques, and electrical components while following OSHA safety standards. Through hands-on experience, they develop problem-solving skills and gain knowledge that can be used in real-life situations and future careers. Students also learn how to troubleshoot electrical issues, read basic blueprints and work both independently and as a part as a team, helping them build confidence and responsibility in real-world environments.
